Persepsi Transmigran Jawa tentang Kepemimpinan Ideal Kepala Desa Di Kecamatan Baradatu, Lampung Utara

Abstrak
Desa Banjar Mulia adalah salah satu desa di Kecamatan Baradatu, Lampung Utara. Sebagian besar (79,72%) penduduknya berasal dari Jawa. Penelitian ini mengkaji kepemimpinan kepala desa di daerah tersebut menurut persepsi transmigran Jawa.

Dari hasil penelitian diketahui dua hal. Pertama, bahwa transmigran Jawa mempunyai persepsi yang baik tentang kepemimpinan kepala desa, jika ia memiliki sifat dan kualitas kepemiminan yang cukup baik. Persepsi itu didasarkan pada pemahaman para transmigran mengenai nilai-nilai kepemimpinan yang ideal, seperti kepemimpinan raja yang bijaksana zaman dulu. Kedua, persepsi itu juga erat kaitannya dengan lamanya transmigran bermukim di daerah transmigrasi, dan hubungan positif mereka dan signifikan dengan kepala desa, yaitu Kepala Desa Banjar Mulia Kecamatan Baradatu, Lampung Utara.

Abstract
The place of research is in Desa Banjar Mulia, Kecamatan Baradatu, North Lampung. Banjar Mulia is a transmigrant village where (79,72%) of the inhabitant are Javaness.

The result of research shows that the Javanese transmigrant have a good perception about the village chief who has character and capability like on attitude of a wise king, and there is a positive, tight and significant relationship between a time of living in out Java variable with the perception of Javanese transmigrant about leadership of an ideal village chief. The first, how is perception of Javanese transmigrant about leadership of an ideal village chief, and the second, is there a positive, tight and significant relationship between a time of living in out Java with perception Javanese transmigrant about leadership of an ideal village chief.The Javanese people have an ideal leadership values. It was inherited from attitude of a wise king that lived in past. In a smaller scope the leadership values look for character and attitude of a village chief. There are two questions that must be answered in this research.
